Studio Calendar & Community Events
On the first Saturday of each month (but not during the summer), the studio holds Piano Parties: monthly group lessons provided as an optional bonus for students under age 15 who are taking private lessons. We gather to play music games, learn music theory, perform pieces for each other, etc. The time is usually 10-11:30am.
A few times a year, Music Gatherings for adult students are scheduled a few times each year (details are always sent via email). Music Gatherings are mostly a social event, but it also provides a low-stress setting for adult students to share their music with others if desired.
The studio holds a Studio Recital annually in either March or April. There are other optional performance opportunities for students throughout the year, such as the local Ribbon Festivals in the Spring, the Wood-Ottawa Ohio Music Teachers Association recitals three times a year, and the Royal Conservatory of Music exams in May.
