Welcome!Hi! I’m a piano teacher based near Ann Arbor, Michigan, in Lodi Township just north of Saline. Before moving here, I ran a thriving piano studio of 30+ students in Northwest Ohio. Now, I currently teach both Michigan and Ohio students (thanks to the magic of the internet).
Over the past 15 years, I’ve learned that kids learn best when they are having fun and when things feel easy. Yet, I maintain high standards in my teaching and ensure students are developing proper technique from day one. I also make sure they receive an appropriate balance between learning to play by ear versus learning to read music notation. Lessons are always fun and enjoyable. And I’ve had many parents tell me their kids are self-motivated to practice on their own at home. (I love it when that happens!)
