Studio Offerings

PIANO LESSONS
​KIDS LOVE!

Piano lessons are offered weekly to students of all ages. Under Joy's instruction, students become independent learners and are motivated to practice. Students get the best of all worlds: customized piano instruction, group ear training, plenty of time to master new concepts, and social interaction with peers. Kids love piano with Joy, and make quick progress! 

PIANO LESSONS
​FOR ADULTS

Lessons for adults are available in 45-minute private sessions. Learn whatever kind of music you've dreamed of playing: classical, pop, whatever!

​Adult students are expected to practice daily on a well-maintained acoustic piano. As part of taking private lessons, students are provided with a variety of optional studio opportunities. 

RECITALS & PIANO WORKSHOPS

A formal Studio Recital for family and friends to enjoy is held each spring. ​Piano Workshops are held throughout the year, generally on Sunday afternoons. These gatherings create frequent opportunities for students to successfully perform for others and have fun with their peers as we learn music theory/history, play music games, ​and more. Piano Workshops are included in the tuition for any student taking lessons. 

Other Programs

As students advance, they may be encouraged to participate in extra-studio programs or local events. One example is the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams, an excellent program students find as a rewarding way to measure their own progress in music study. These events require an additional fee for participation.

Little MUSIC MAKERS CLASSES

Check back to see when Early Childhood Music classes for ages 0-5 will be held next. It's never too early to start exposing your child to the magic of music! 

Summer Camps

Summer Music Camps are held each year during the summer.  They are generally open current students as well as students with no previous music background. Example themes from past years include "So, You Want To Be A Composer?", "Music History Blast From The Past!", and "Ukulele Camp".
